Chianti Classico

Chioccioli Chianti Classico D.O.C.G.

Is obtained from the blend of 85% Sangiovese , 5 % Merlot , 5 % Syrah and 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are grown in our vineyards, located in the most suitable production areas for the Chianti Classico: Gaiole in Chianti and Quercegrossa.

The grapes are harvested in small boxes, cooled overnight and then worked on the double sorting table. The fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks, conical vats. After a long maceration on the skins the wine is poured directly into French oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation takes place.

It rises in barriques “sur lies” for 14 months. After bottling , it ages in bottle before being released in the market. Wine of extraordinary identity, intense with fruity, floral and spicy notes, balanced and concrete tannin with a fresh acidity that extends into fruity and spicy notes.

The terroir is the master of this wine, its expression curdled Sangiovese married with three small amounts of the three complementary grapes that have made Tuscany great in the world.

Is obtained from the blend of 95% of Sangiovese and 5 % of Merlot. The grapes are grown in our vineyards, located in the most suitable production areas of the Chianti Classico: Gaiole in Chianti and Quercegrossa.

After a thorough green harvest the grapes are harvested in small boxes, cooled overnight and then worked on the double sorting table. Fermentation takes place in conical vats, barrels and opened barriques with the technique of “vinficazione integrale”.

After a long maceration on the skins the wine is poured directly into the barrels of the best selection of fine grain French oak, where the malolactic fermentation takes place. It rises in barriques “sur lies” for 18 months.
After bottling, ages in bottle at least 6 months before being released in the market. Wine of extraordinary identity, intense, rich and complex with fruity and spicy notes, soft tannins, dense, thick, balanced with a fresh acidity that extends into fruity and spicy notes. The terroir is the master of this wine, its expression is the expression of Sangiovese in his great terroir married with small notes of Merlot.

Is obtained from the blend of 50 % of Sangiovese and 50 % of Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are grown in our vineyards, located in the most suitable production areas of the Chianti Classico: Gaiole in Chianti and Quercegrossa. After a thorough green harvest the grapes are harvested in small boxes , cooled overnight and then worked on the double sorting table.

Fermentation takes place in open barrels and barriques with the technique of winemaking in full. After a long maceration on the skins the wine is poured directly into the barrels of the best selection of fine grain French oak, where the malolactic fermentation takes place.

It rises in barriques “sur lies” for 18 months. After bottling, aged in glass at least 6 months before being released in the market. Wine of extraordinary identity, very intense, elegant, refined, rich and complex with fruity notes of red and blacks berries and married in fresh spices undergrowth; sweet tannins, dense, thick, voluminous, long and balanced with a fresh acidity that extension fruity and spicy notes long and intense.

The terroir is the master of this wine, its expression is the comparison “face to face “ of two great grapes, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, that have found their great varietal expression in Tuscany.
