It is obtained from 100% Sangiovese.
After a meticulous green harvest the grapes are collected in small boxes, cooled overnight and then checked on a double sorting table. Fermentation takes place in 7hl egg-shaped amphoras of terracotta made in Impruneta. After the fermentation on the skins it remains on its own skins for other 12 months.
After bottling, it ages in glass for at least 12 months before being placed on the market.
This wine is complex, fine, and fruity with an elegant mineral background. The taste is suave, intense but at the same time delicate, with sweet and compact tannin and a fresh acidity. The long and persistent finish recalls fruity and floral notes with a long fine and elegant salty mineral finish.

Deep ruby red colour with garnet nuances.
